Proven champion. A true-blue roan that is 43.75% Blue Valentine. Sired by Leo Hancock Hayes out of the legendary mare, Fox Coup. Fox Coup was bred by Merritt Quarter Horses and Sam Shoultz purchased her a yearling in 1992. She was ridden and produced her first foal in 1996 for Shoultz. Blue Fox is 15.1, quick and athletic with an amazing stride. Blue Fox Hancock is an Open AQHA Champion with 722 Open points including Halter, Barrel Racing, Team Roping both Heading & Heeling, Tie-Down Roping and Working Cow Horse. KeSa Quarter Horses showed Blue Fox Hancock, earning the 2009 reserve All-Around High Point Champion in all events, senior and open division, winning a new horse trailer from AQHA. Produces 100% roans. His foals are all well minded, correct conformation and possess the ability to be just as athletic as their sire. According to Luke Jones, Blue Fox Hancock’s progeny have his attributes and abilities to compete in the show pen. JD Lauing says that Blue Fox fulfilled a vision of adding athleticism, speed and color to the Lauing Ranch foals. AQHA tested N/N for 5 panel.  In 2020, Lauing Ranch and Sunrise Farm were blessed to have the opportunity to purchase Blue Fox Hancock from KESA Quarter Horses, Sam Shoultz.
