Mr Junewood is a stunning golden buckskin that is the result of KESA Quarter Horses carefully planned blending of two different mare lines of Driftwood Ike sons. Both his sire and dam lines go back to Joe Hancock in a background cross to Blue Valentine’s ancestors. Sam Shoultz called this a “weaving” of bloodlines. ‘MJ’ qualified for 4 AQHA World Shows placing 6th in his JR Age Year and 8th in 2003 in the Open Sr class. He earned 192 AQHA Points, all in tough Open classes, earning his ROM and Superior in heeling with points in Heading and Tie Down Calf roping.  Mr Junewood was also the 2001 and 2004 FQHR Round-Up and Review Heeling Champion. The 2004 and 2005 FQHR Open Ranch Pleasure Champion and Versatility All-Around Contender. In 2005 Me Junewood was the COAFQHR Grand Champion Stallion and Ranch Pleasure Champion. A Mr Junewood son, Mr Fritz Wood earned 1,126.5 AQHA points, took home 3 world championships, 2 reserves, and 4 Superiors and was the 2014 AQHA High point Open All Around Horse with multiple high point awards in events like heading & heeling.  ‘MJ’ has a proven track record of producing high quality, show winning offspring that are the cream of the crop earning money and awards in the show pen.
