Early in November, 2016, sadly, we lost this beautiful blue roan stallion to health complications. He was our senior stallion and he was our beautiful "Blue." We were heartbroken but we have always felt that we were blessed to have him here at our ranch for as long as we did. Certainly, once in a lifetime horse; a gift from heaven and a huge blessing for each of us. As part of the 1990, Hancocks Blue Boy foal crop at Broken Bones with John and Marie Whipp, Landers, Wyoming, Revue Hancock, was 91% Foundation and line bred Joe Hancock/Blue Valentine with a dash of Leo. The last foals from this guy arrived in 2017. A legendary broodmare sire, Hancock is well known and recognized for producing foals that are pretty, big bones, good minded, and correct. Lauing Ranch has multiple daughters and granddaughters producing top foals for our program. producing extremely nice babies. Lauing Ranch has a 2017 blue roan son here in South Dakota out of Stretch Hancock Pep one of Lauing Ranch’s top producing mares. Revue Hancock, a true blue roan, sired 155 AQHA+ 100% roan foals, (also, roan thoroughbreds and paints) in his career including multiple proven rodeo performance horses, halter, dressage, and a 2002 blue roan daughter, MS MARILYN MONROAN, EARNER OF 160 AQHA points, 24 Halter and 136 Performance, AQHA World Ranch Riding Qualifier, and AQHA Champion.
